I believe its a chance when attacking to get that bonus.

Its a chance, i think its like 5% or .5% one or the other. and it doesnt stack, if it activated it wont activate again till it wears out.

Edit: You also have to be wearing the set

oh. shadow walk. can i pc>shadow walk[1] too?

There is no Shadow Walk[1].
However, Hodrems drop Shadow Walks, and I see them selling pretty cheap usually under 30k I believe.
