RE: Story's PictureBook
The reason I'm telling you to stray from such terms Story is so you can get a wider audience. If you go down this path you're going to have a harder time reaching out to people with your comics. Not as many as you think know or even understand the Japanese terms you use.
If you are wanting to only appeal to a small group that's fine, but be aware that you will only be appealing to a small niche if you use the Japanese terms and whatnot without a real need to.

RE: Story's PictureBook
It's hard enough to post artworks everyday and having other projects at the side. I have my limits to how much I can do and for me to continue on drawing I need to sacrifice some stuff that are low priority. So please stop posting here and let other artists step in for me. I had my time and more time is what I need. The only time you will see me post will be Auctions I make since at least I gain some zeny doing it.

RE: Story's PictureBook

First of all, I want to apologise for breaking my promise of not posting anymore and my rude attitude in my last post. But I wanted to clear things up now about my comic.
I also should smack you for putting random Japanese in your comic. >(
THIS.
I don't care if you're making a manga. You're not Japanese, this was not Japanese to begin with. So just throwing that in there makes you a seem like a weeaboo.

^I was mad at this since not being Japanese doesn't relate to an artist not being able to use them and to even use a drawing is just insulting. I won't apologise that I am using Japanese words and making the comic right to left since it is my style. Just because most readers are american doesn't mean that I have to follow such an ideal comic design to show my story. What matters the most is the story itself.

I was also angry since I was planning to finish this RO story only to be demolished by comments in the very first page. It really did alot of damage on my confidence. For people to comment that the character I made can't use 'Oneechan' just because she doesn't seem to come from Amatsu (The Japan in RO) should know that not all comics are historically correct. Pokemon not having guns in it and some mangas that start in medieval Europe using '-sama' or 'hime'.

It took me awhile to think about this in the past weeks. It's true that I have side projects but most of them fail or are kept secret for future uses. I wanted to let people know about my feelings in this subject since it keeps annoying me at the back of my head. I don't really care about getting a wider audience with my comic but all I want is that I was able to express it in the way I want it to be. Right now, I'm working on a manga I called "When Angels Fall" but it's still in planning stages and probably won't be appearing in this thread since I plan on publishing it though.

*phew* I feel much better now. Me being sadistic is actually just a facade for me to test people I meet in game and I'm actually nicer than you think. Some people that I know might have seen me acting weirdly through the past weeks but that was because of this issue and school starting.

RE: Story's PictureBook
The Japanese are DOODIEHEADS. They usually won't allow foreign artists into homeland manga businesses but go around and let their words leak into other languages because they're too lazy to translate those suffix honorables. (If you're using fan-made scanlations to say how they're still using "chan", "hime", etc, then shame on you.)
You are free to draw how you like, but I'm honestly sick of anime or Japanese-style manga. That's just my opinion and my own personal dislike. I prefer if people would use the entire English language, or if not that then the entire Japanese language, when making manga/comics/whatever. However, throw some artistic and/or plot-related originality in and I will not care a rat's ass if you use "oneechan" (only as long as you use that stuff CORRECTLY). I love the style and plot more than the specifics of dialogue. Though don't get me wrong, that's pretty important too.

RE: Story's PictureBook
I crave for originality yet so many roads were already taken. I already knew the risk in following this path I've chosen. The gap that I must break and numerous spiteful eyes that I must face. I already knew about this yet the passion that lit in me will overcome it and become stronger with each stepping stone. Whether to fall or to move on I will challenge what I must face head on. Dark may my path be, I will light it up with what I hope to be.

RE: Story's PictureBook
EVENT:"Roaming Artist"
I've been recently getting slumped in my ability to draw so I'm going to hold an event I call the "Roaming Artist". This event is where I will roam around in heRO in random times for people to find me and get a drawing from me for free. GMs can also participate.
How the event works:
1. Find me[aka Story Teller]
2. Screenshot me[needs to contain the time you found me and it will be reference I'll be using to draw your character]
3. Post screenshot in this thread [crucial step to know that you found me first and also stops the event temporarily]
4. I reply with the drawing [this will restart the event once more for the next person who finds me and post my screenshot]
Note: Not all drawings can be of same quality and not all will have the same time of finishing since it depends on my schedule via IRL
